INNO3D launches GeForce RTX 3080/RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards with hybrid cooling
With the increase in power consumption and heat generation of the recent two generations of GPUs, the heat sinks of high-end graphics cards have also become larger and larger, and the graphics cards are longer and heavier. Now that the thickness of three slots is commonplace, and long-term use may cause PCB deformation, individual users should also consider using the graphics card bracket. Even so, it may not fully meet the heat dissipation requirements. On the flagship graphics cards of NVIDIA Ampere architecture and AMD RDNA 2 architecture, more and more manufacturers tend to launch products with water cooling.
Recently, INNO3D launched GeForce RTX 3080 iCHILL BLACK LHR and GeForce RTX 3080 Ti iCHILL BLACK. Both graphics cards use hybrid cooling solutions to meet the needs of heat dissipation and silence. As you know from the name, GeForce RTX 3080 iCHILL BLACK LHR is equipped with an LHR version of the GPU, with an acceleration frequency of 1710 MHz (45 MHz higher than the public version), 320bit/10GB GDDR6X video memory, and a rate of 19 Gbps. GeForce RTX 3080 Ti iCHILL BLACK is a new GPU launched by NVIDIA three months ago, with an acceleration frequency of 1770 MHz (60 MHz higher than the public version), 384bit/12GB GDDR6X video memory, and a rate of 19 Gbps. In terms of display output, they are equipped with three DisplayPort 1.4a interfaces and one HDMI 2.1 interface.
Both graphics cards have the appearance of all black paint, including PCB, heat sink, backplane, and fan, etc., with double slot thickness. It uses an integrated water cooling with a 120mm cold exhaust, plus a 90mm fan to assist in heat dissipation, and a metal casing is added to ensure the lowest possible noise while ensuring the heat dissipation efficiency. Due to the hybrid heat dissipation structure, the graphics card will be smaller than similar products, with a length of 226mm. INNO3D said that both graphics cards have excellent temperature and noise control capabilities. Both graphics cards have excellent temperature and noise control capabilities, at a noise of 28 decibels. The temperatures of GPU, GDDR6X memory, and VRM are 68, 77, and 82 degrees Celsius, respectively.
