ID-COOLING launched IS-47S thin CPU air cooling radiator

ID-COOLING announced the launch of the IS-47S thin CPU air-cooled radiator. The height, including the fan, is 47mm, providing a new option for users who like to build small form factor (SFF), HTPC, ultra-thin mainframes, and Mini-ITX form factor mainframes with high mounting height requirements.

The IS-47S thin CPU air-cooled radiator has a completely black appearance, the overall size is 100mm x 93mm x 47mm (WxDxH), the weight is 450 grams, and it adopts a design that does not conflict with the memory and PCIe slots. It uses a copper base, aluminum cooling fins, and four 6mm heat pipes, and can be used on CPUs with a TDP of 95W or less. The overall size of the PWM fan paired with the IS-47S thin CPU air-cooled radiator is 92mm x 92mm x 12mm, using ball bearings, the speed is between 800 and 3600 RPM (PWM), and it can provide 40 CFM of air volume, air pressure is 2.28 mmHO, the noise is 17-35.8 dBA, and the power consumption is 3.36W.

IS-47S thin CPU air cooling radiator supports Intel LGA1700/1200/2066/2011/1151/1150/1155/1156 platforms, as well as AMD’s AM4 platform, and provides two independent backplanes for Intel and AMD respectively. In addition, there is a thermal grease called ID-TG25 with thermal conductivity of 10.5 W/m-K.

Although the CPU’s requirements for heat dissipation are getting higher and higher, more desktop computers choose an integrated water-cooling radiator. However, the air-cooled radiator has its own advantages in reliability, durability, noise level, and convenience, so it is still favored by many users, especially on some hosts with small size and low power consumption.

The official suggested retail price of the IS-47S thin CPU air-cooled cooler is $34.99/€34.99, and it is expected to be available in late April 2022.
