Huawei is pushing the EMUI 10 version based on Android 10 to MATE 20 series

Although Google has suspended cooperation with Huawei for Android system authorization and certification, Huawei has not forgotten to continue to provide updates for the launched devices. Huawei’s flagship Android device MATE20 launched last year is ushered in updates, and Huawei has begun to provide EMUI 10 updates to users in some markets. EMUI 10 is custom developed based on Android version 10 and therefore has various features of the new version of Android.

According to Dutch technology media DroidApp, the Huawei MATE 20 Pro version, which is currently purchased and used in the Netherlands, has received the EMUI10 system push. The firmware package for this update reaches 4.42GB and the version number is 10.0.0.136. Of course, the update is definitely pushed in batches, so not all users receive the update.

Users who have not received the update need to wait. When the update is available, the system will automatically pop up a notification to remind the user to download and install and then complete the upgrade. At present, Huawei officially has not released an update notice on the MATE20 series, so it is not clear how long users in other countries and regions still need to wait.
