HMD is definitely a very active manufacturer to push the new Android update on its devices. The new Android update is not only for high-end Android devices, but Nokia mid-range and even low-end devices made by HMD can also get updates.

According to the company’s previous update roadmap, starting from last fall to summer 2020, all Nokia-branded Android phones from HMD will be upgraded to Android 10.

Now this company is following the update roadmap to release the Android 10 update as scheduled. This time it is the Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 7 Plus that received the update.

According to the official news of Nokia Mobile operated by HMD, the Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 7 Plus devices will start receiving Android 10 updates immediately.

This is the first official update of Android 10 launched by HMD in 2020. In terms of features, HMD uses the native version and therefore also syncs with Google’s new features.

For example, it provides system-level dark mode, smart reply function, focus mode, and a dedicated privacy zone, as well as Google’s updated gesture navigation menu.

The Android 10 update volume for Nokia 6.1 is 1.444GB. At the same time, this version has been integrated with the Google security update of December 2019.

Android 10 update volume for Nokia 6.1 Plus is about 1.3GB, and Android 10 update volume for Nokia 7 Plus is about 1.422GB.
