Google is building a new sharing tool for Android, which can transfer files offline. In fact, this function is to replace the Android Beam function, which mainly relies on NFC near field communication technology to transmit files but its scope of application is limited.

For this new Fast Share feature, Bluetooth and WiFi networks can be integrated to quickly transfer files regardless of whether the user’s device is connected to the Internet.
