Google continues to improve ‘Back Sensitivity’ gesture setting in Android Q
Google’s latest version of the mobile operating system Android Q will be released in Q3 2019, and it is still continuing to experiment and improve the new gesture navigation function. Recently, Google has redesigned the traditional backward operation of Android by leveraging the iOS operation mode. Android Q will no longer retain the virtual buttons on the screen but will allow the user to implement the back function by swiping inward from both sides of the screen.
Google said that in the upcoming Android Q beta 5, users who use full-gesture navigation can click and hold on the edge of the screen to slide out the menu. In addition, Google allows you to quickly swipe from either side of the screen to continue to trigger the “back” operation.
It is reported that some users have found a new setting called “Back Sensitivity” in the latest beta version of Android Q. It also sets the sliding ratio. There are four increments on the slider ranging from “Low” to “High.” Of course, if users don’t like the new gesture system of Android Q, Android Q also provides an option to return users to the previous three-button experience of Android.
