Google Chrome for iOS is adding new code for users to scan for Credit Card numbers
Recently, developers have submitted code to the Google Chrome browser about the credit card scanner. This function is actually used to facilitate the user to scan the identification card number. The developer said that the credit card scanner is actually part of the Google Chrome QR code scan, and the relevant code can be called to capture and scan the card. As for the specific use, the developer can add relevant code to the webpage. If the user needs to pay, it is more convenient to manually input the card number to capture and recognize.
Google has agreed to the feature provided by the developer on the code change page, but the new feature will take some time to integrate into the browser. At the same time, Google also strongly recommends that developers annotate their forms by automating properties to ensure that users can automatically populate the form with existing data.
In addition, Google engineers also said that this feature will also support Android. Google Chrome for Android currently supports similar scanning and filling functions. However, the digital field detected by the Android version of the Google Chrome camera scanning function will only recognize and fill the digital field when it matches the credit card number rule.
