Google Chrome 96 adds Windows 11 style
Earlier, the new rounded corner menu is being tested in the beta version of Google Chrome, mainly because the pop-up windows such as right-click and settings are replaced with rounded corners.
This style has arrived in the official version of Google Chrome 96 launched recently, but it is not enabled by default but requires users to enable it through a trial option.
The name of this experimental option is called Windows 11 style. Of course, don’t expect Google Chrome to adapt to Microsoft’s smooth design system or the latest mica effect.
The Windows 11 style here is just that the pop-up menu has rounded corners. There is no change in other aspects, and there is no setting in the menu.
Interested users can open it here: chrome://flags/#win11-style-menus and modify the default option to Enabled and restart.
