Google Chrome 75 releases: includes 42 security fixes
Google today released Chrome 75 web browser for all supported platforms (including Linux, Windows, and macOS), and introduced various improvements while fixing many security issues. The latest stable version of Chrome 75.0.3770.80 is now available for download and can be downloaded and installed via the official Chrome page.
Chrome 75 is not a big update, introducing several new features and software enhancements for desktop and web developers. Among them, the option to manage security keys has been added to the “Privacy and Security” setting, and Scroll Snap Stop is supported to improve gesture navigation.
In addition to the improvements mentioned above, Chrome 75 has fixed a total of 42 security vulnerabilities. The most important of these is to mitigate the Intel processor’s Spectre security vulnerability. By default, site isolation is enabled for all desktop users. The rendering of content for each web page is done by a separate process.
