GIGABYTE announced the launch of X670 series motherboards that support AMD’s next-generation AM5 platform and Ryzen 7000 series processors with Zen 4 architecture. At AMD’s Meet The Experts event for enthusiasts and professionals last month, Gigabyte showcased four X670 series motherboards, including AORUS XTREME, AORUS MASTER, AORUS PRO AX, and AORUS ELITE AX series.

According to GIGABYTE, its first products are aimed at high-end gaming and mainstream users. The flagship AORUS series covers X670E and X670 motherboards that support DDR5 memory and are equipped with PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots. The new motherboard focuses on performance and stability and is equipped with a straight-out digital power supply design and a full-coverage fin cooling module.
Among them, X670E AORUS XTREME adopts an 18+2+2-phase power supply design, while other AORUS series products use a 16+2+2-phase power supply, which effectively improves the stability of the system. These motherboards are equipped with multiple heat dissipation designs such as fully covered metal heat dissipation armor, 8mm Mega heat pipe, and heat dissipation fins, which provide better overclocking and performance for the new Ryzen 7000 series processors.

GIGABYTE also provides the EZ-Latch Plus quick assembly and disassembly design for DIY assembly players, which allows M.2 SSD disassembly and assembly without screws, and graphics card insertion and removal without jamming, making it easier and faster for players to assemble or upgrade computers.
This time, GIGABYTE will launch three motherboards, X670E AORUS XTREME, X670E AORUS MASTER, and X670 AORUS ELITE AX, which will go on sale at 9 pm on September 27, 2022. The X670 AORUS PRO AX that was exhibited before has not yet appeared, and players who are interested in this motherboard may have to wait a little longer.
