G.SKILL launches DDR5-6000 CL30 64GB (32GBx2) package

After Intel launched the Alder Lake platform and the memory switched from DDR4 to DDR5, as a world-renowned computer hardware brand, G.Skill has launched a number of high-frequency DDR5 memory products in the field of storage. Recently, G.SKILL officially announced the launch of a new DDR5-6000 CL30-40-40-96 64GB (32GBx2) ultra-high-capacity ultra-fast memory package.

G.SKILL’s new DDR5 package has the characteristics of high speed, low timing, large capacity, etc. It is understood that this is the world’s first ultra-high-speed 6000 MT/s dual-channel package consisting of a single 32GB DDR5 module, and it only has the ultra-low timing of CL30 which can meet the two requirements of high computing speed and large capacity on the new generation platform. In addition, this time G.SKILL DDR5-6000 large-capacity package is also added to the latest flagship product – Trident Z5 RGB Phantom DDR5 memory series.

As the first 64GB package to use a single 32GB DDR5 module, G.SKILL’s DDR5 high-capacity speed kit increases the clock to 6000MHz while maintaining the low timing of CL30-40-40-96, the coexistence of extremely fast frequency and large capacity allows this new product to exert the ultimate overclocking strength.

The memory package of this specification has also been tested on a baking machine on the platform built by the Intel Core i7-12700K processor and the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO motherboard, and the results are shown in the figure. As for the time to market, G.S. Qi officially stated that this ultra-large-capacity ultra-fast DDR5 memory package will be sold through major cooperative distributors in the second quarter of this year.
