Firefox 67 will ship with Firefox Monitor for notifying breach alerts

Firefox Monitor is a free service that Firefox launched a while ago, which can notify you by email when your data breach occurs. In the digital age, the more information that is digitized, the more information is leaked. The leak was inevitable, but the first time after the leak, it was found that there was still a chance of remediation.

Firefox Monitor only needs your mailbox to find the information that has been leaked, and can also notify you when a new leak occurs in the future. Mozilla worked with “Have I Been Pwned” to let users know if their account was compromised during data breaches. At the time, the company was using Have I Been Pwned and named its service “Firefox Monitor.” Now Mozilla is integrating this functionality directly into the web browser, so you don’t need to visit Firefox Monitor to check if your account has been compromised.

This feature is currently being tested and will be available soon to Firefox users. Currently, if you want to try it out, you can download the Firefox Nightly Build version and find the preference “extensions.fxmonitor.enabled” and change its value to true.
