ENERMAX released the REVOLUTION ATX 3.0 series power supply, starting at 1000W and featuring dual 12VHPWR interfaces

ENERMAX has announced the release of its new REVOLUTION ATX 3.0 power supply series. As the name suggests, the main feature of ENERMAX’s new power supply is its support for the ATX 3.0 specification standard. The initial batch of this series consists of high-wattage products with a rated power of 1000W and 1200W respectively.

According to TechPowerup, the REVOLUTION ATX 3.0 power supply series uses a single 12V output and DC-DC design, incorporating various circuit protections and obtaining an 80 PLUS Gold certification. It is equipped with a 135mm fan that can achieve a 30% load stop in Semi-Fanless mode, and users can enable it using the physical switch on the power supply.

Unlike many new power supplies, the REVOLUTION ATX 3.0 series not only features a 12+4Pin PCIe 5.0 power supply interface (12VHPWR), but also has two of them, which is why this series starts at 1000W. The difference is that the first PCIe 5.0 power supply interface in the REVOLUTION ATX 3.0 series is native and directly connected to the 12VHPWR connector, providing 600W of power, while the other one is connected through two 8Pin connectors, meaning it can only provide 300W of power.

Apart from some high-end gamers, extreme overclocking enthusiasts, or workstations that require dual graphics cards, only a few graphics cards on the market require two 12+4Pin PCIe 5.0 power supply interfaces. Most ordinary players only need to use the native PCIe 5.0 power supply interface.

The REVOLUTION ATX 3.0 power supply series features a fully modular design and is equipped with a 24Pin motherboard power supply interface, two 4+4Pin CPU power supply interfaces, a native 16Pin 12VHPWR power supply interface with a power supply capability of 600W, a 16Pin 12VHPWR power supply interface with a power supply capability of 300W, twelve SATA power supply interfaces, and some traditional power supply interfaces, which are sufficient to meet user needs.

ENERMAX has not provided specific pricing or availability information for this new product yet.
