CORSAIR launches RS MAX series of high-performance fans

Corsair has announced the launch of its new RS MAX series fans, marking its first foray into 30mm thick cooling fans. Crafted from highly durable liquid crystal polymer materials (LCP) with enlarged fan blades and supplemented by AirGuide technology, Corsair’s engineering team has produced a fan of uncompromised performance and superior quality. This fan requires only a simple 4-pin PWM connection for precise speed adjustment without the need for a separate controller.

Compared to standard fans, the RS MAX series is 20% thicker, enabling it to generate the same airflow at lower speeds, thereby reducing overall noise levels. For PC enthusiasts who prioritize exceptional cooling, the larger fan blades of the RS MAX series enhance air pressure, facilitating airflow through obstacles and dense radiators, making them ideal for high-performance liquid cooling solutions.

The RS MAX series is available in 120mm and 140mm sizes, both featuring Corsair’s proprietary magnetic levitation bearings. The 120mm model measures 120 x 120 x 30 mm, with speeds ranging from 425 to 2000 RPM, airflow from 16.5 to 72 CFM, air pressure from 0.22 to 4.2 mmH2O, and noise levels from 10 to 29.5 dB(A). The 140mm model measures 140 x 140 x 30 mm, with speeds from 400 to 1600 RPM, airflow from 27.5 to 104 CFM, air pressure from 0.2 to 2.4 mmH2O, and noise levels from 10 to 31 dB(A).

The RS MAX series fans are now available, and Corsair offers a five-year warranty. The 120mm fans are available individually ($34.99) or in a triple pack ($94.99), while the 140mm fans are available individually ($39.99) or in a twin pack ($74.99).
