Chromium Microsoft Edge supports ARM platforms

Since Microsoft launched the Chromium Edge project, Insider testers have received in multiple version updates. Regrettably, there has been a lack of support for ARM chipset platforms. The good news is that after months of testing, the Chromium Edge for ARM has entered the Canary channel a few weeks ago and is now in the Dev channel. For Microsoft, providing native support for the ARM platform is of great significance.

Previously, x86 applications had to be emulated to run successfully on ARM devices. However, the process of code conversion will cause a great loss of performance.

According to the current development progress, Microsoft cannot rush to release the official version of the Chromium Edge browser for the ARM platform on January 15.
