Google Docs warn Chromium Microsoft Edge is not supported

Recently, some users found that when they use the Chromium Microsoft Edge browser to access Google’s online document service, they will pop up a prompt saying that the browser is not supported. This situation is basically similar to the earlier Google online meeting application blocking Chromium Microsoft Edge. Google’s many online services use a whitelists browsers mechanism to ensure stability, and most browsers such as Firefox have been listed as whitelisted by Google.

Unable to be compatible with Chromium Microsoft Edge, mainly Microsoft modified the user agent string, the modified string is not in Google’s whitelists browsers.

Of course, the solution to this problem is actually relatively simple, just install an User-Agent Switcher for Chrome extension in Microsoft Edge. Modify the user agent string to use the user-agent of Chrome 74, you can continue to access Google services after modification.
