Chrome introduces Link to Text Fragment extension that allows for linking to arbitrary text on a page
Some web pages support the anchor point function for displaying content chapters and quick positioning. When you click on a specific anchor text, you will jump directly to the corresponding marked anchor point.
The advantage of this approach is that for very long content, users can quickly locate the anchor point to continue reading while reading instead of slowly scrolling down.
Of course, most websites do not support the anchor function. After all, it may be a little trouble, so Google Chrome is developing a more general marking method without website development. Recently, Google has launched an extension with similar features. The extension is Link to Text Fragment.
With the help of this extension program, you can jump to any text content. If you save the jump address as a bookmark, it will be more convenient for the next reading.
Usage instructions:
* Select the text that you want to link to.
* Right-click and choose “Copy Link to Selected Text” from the context menu.
* If the link creation succeeded, the selected text will be briefly highlighted in yellow.
* Paste your link wherever you want to share it.
