Chrome 70 will resolve cookies and login privacy issues
As a special edition of Chrome’s 10th Anniversary, Chrome 69 was repeatedly exposed to the automatic login credentials, retaining Google’s cookies and other privacy issues, and caused many users to blame and criticize Google, and even the crisis of trust.
Google said yesterday that it would adjust the Chrome browser to resolve privacy concerns about cookies and user logins. These improvements will be rolled out in Chrome 70.
Zach Koch, a Chrome product manager, explained that while they believe that login consistency will benefit most users, Chrome 70 will add a control that allows users to turn off automatic association login to Chrome, based on user feedback.
Chrome 70 will also update the UI to communicate data synchronization status to users better. It will display three states: Logged Out, Logged In, Not Synchronized, and Logged In and Synced.
Also, Chrome 70 will change the way in which authentication cookies are handled. All cookies will be deleted when you clear browsing data. It is reported that the Chrome 70 plan will be released in mid-October.
