It is reported that Samsung Display and LG Display have confirmed that they will provide flexible OLED panels for the iPhone 13 to be launched in the fall, but BOE has not yet obtained supply approval.

In February of this year, the market research organization Qunzhi Consulting released the “Sigmaintel Mobile phone panel shipment report in Dec.20” market report. In 2020, the total shipment of global smartphone panel shipments was 1.888 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6%. Among them, BOE became the world’s No. 1 panel manufacturer with 408 million pieces of shipments, occupying 21.6% of the market share, an increase of 5.2% year-on-year. In the most profitable OLED panel market, Samsung still ranks first with a shipment of 370 million pieces.

It was previously reported that the total shipments of iPhone OLED panels this year will reach 169 million, of which Samsung will be about 110 million, accounting for 65%, LG is about 50 million, accounting for 29.6%, and BOE is about 9 million. , accounting for 5.3%.
