Biostar submitted Z790 and B760 motherboards to EEC

Recently, Biostar submitted new documents to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) concerning Intel’s 13th-generation Core series processors, the new motherboards used in Raptor Lake. Although Alder Lake has not yet fully rolled out, motherboard manufacturers are stepping up the development of new products, showing that Intel is accelerating the pace to further put pressure on AMD.

Biostar 700 motherboards include Z790 Valkyrie, Z790 Racing GTA, Z790-A Silver, B760GTQ, B760M-SILVER, B760GTN, B760T-SILVER, B760MX5-E PRO, B760MX-PRO, B760MX-C, B760MX- E, B760MH variety of products. The current motherboard list only refers to the Z790 and B760 chipsets, and it is unclear whether Intel will have the H770 and H710 chipsets as well.
There have been rumors before that Intel’s 700 series chipsets are only Z790 and B760. Intel’s submission to the SATA-IO organization shows that the same chipset should be available for Alder Lake and Raptor Lake. The content of documents leaked by Intel in the past also indicates that the Raptor Lake desktop platform will continue to use the LGA 1700 socket and may be compatible with the motherboard used by Alder Lake.
