BenQ launched the EW2880U monitor

BenQ has launched a new monitor EW2880U, but it is not for the game field, but for business office users. This EW2880U is a 28-inch 4K monitor, in terms of resolution and size, it can be said to be the ceiling of the current business resolution.

Since it is a commercial display, the refresh rate will of course not go to 144Hz or higher. The refresh rate of BenQ EW2880U is 60Hz, which can already meet most of the current office needs. In addition, in terms of brightness, the typical brightness of this display is 300 nits, which is sufficient for office use. Since the display itself supports HDR10, users can also use it to watch HDR content in HDR10 format.

In terms of color gamut, BenQ EW2880U is good. Officials claim that it can cover 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. At least there is no problem in color performance, but the color accuracy is unknown.
Finally, in terms of interfaces, BenQ EW2880U has 2 HDMI 2.0 and 1 DP 1.4 video output interface and also has 1 Type-C interface that can provide 60W charging power and DP alternative mode. Type-C interface can be said to be a bonus item for business office displays. Because it allows users in need to connect devices such as mobile phones or tablets to the display to view or modify documents on a large screen, which is a relatively convenient function.

At present, BenQ has not officially announced the price or time to market for the EW2880U, but this monitor has been listed
on its official website, so it should not be far from the market.
