ASUS Z690 motherboard lineup leaked

At Intel’s upcoming Alder Lake-S processor conference, in addition to the 12th-generation Core series processors with the “K” and “KF” suffixes, there will also be a supporting Z690 chipset. Sporadic news about the Z690 chipset has been leaked before, indicating that Intel has already provided the Z690 chipset to OEMs and partners at least two months ago. The design of the relevant motherboard has come to an end, and the final optimization work is being done.
Intel Z690 motherboard specifications
In addition to supporting the new LGA 1700 socket, the Z690 chipset will also provide 28 PCIe channels, including 12 PCIe Gen4 channels and 16 PCIe Gen3 channels. The DMI bus is also upgraded from DMI 3.0 x8 of the Z590 chipset to DMI 4.0 x8.

Technology upgrades make the Z690 chipset larger than the Z590 chipset, the chip is rectangular, but the heat does not seem to be large.
Recently, Asus submitted the Z690 motherboard documents to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). It is expected that ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme will become the new flagship product of Asus, together with the Formula and Hero models, and the Proart series will use DDR5 memory. Prime series will provide DDR4 and DDR5 memory models respectively. ROG Strix and TUP G series will continue to use DDR4 memory. I believe that ASUS will add more Z690 motherboards later, for example, Apex motherboards have not yet appeared.

Except for the name of the product and the type of memory supported, there is no other information for the time being, and the retailer has not released these motherboards.
