ASUS Releases New TUF Gaming Gold Power Supply: Provides up to 1200W

According to TechPowerup, ASUS recently launched a new TUF Gaming series of power supplies designed to provide reliable, stable power for gaming PCs for years to come. In this iteration, ASUS engineers have done more optimization work on the TUF Gaming series power supplies than ever before, not only is it 80 PLUS Gold certified, but it also brings higher power ratings to meet the needs of next-generation platforms.

The new TUF Gaming series power supplies offer four power ratings of 750W, 850W, 1000W, and 1200W, and the higher power ratings are ideal for gamers to build platforms to run future 3A games. These power supplies all support ATX 3.0, provide a 12VHPWR interface, and use a full-module design, allowing users to reduce unnecessary cables in use.

Like the previous generation TUF Gaming series power supplies, the highest-end 1200W model is built with military-grade components for long-term reliable use and has a protective coating on the PCB to prevent short circuits from moisture and dust. The equipped 135mm fan has low noise, and can keep the power supply at a lower operating temperature, extending the life of the power supply.

Asus says all of these models have passed the same rigorous tests, including extreme temperatures and vibrations, to ensure long-term operation, and the 80 PLUS Gold certification means the new product is more efficient than the previous generation. Asus is very confident in the durability and longevity of the new TUF Gaming series power supplies and decided to extend the warranty period from six years to ten years so that users can use it with confidence.

Asus has not yet provided pricing for the product, as well as a specific time to market.
