ASUS launched GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Turbo

In the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series of high-end graphics cards, it has rarely seen the design of turbo cooling. On the one hand, the power consumption is large, and the heat generation is not small. It is difficult to meet the heat dissipation needs to continue to use the dual-slot with turbo cooling design. On the other hand, some manufacturers have launched a variety of GeForce RTX 3080/3090 graphics cards with turbo cooling, including five board manufacturers including Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, GALAXY, and Emtek, but in the end, the plan was canceled and the relevant information on the website was deleted. According to previous reports, it may be due to pressure from Nvidia.

According to TechPowerup reports, ASUS recently launched the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Turbo with a long-awaited turbo cooling design. GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Turbo basically follows a dual-slot graphics card. This design is very suitable for when multiple GPUs need to be configured. From the appearance point of view, the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Turbo is similar to last year’s GeForce RTX 3070 Turbo. It uses a channel-type radiator made of aluminum and copper and is equipped with a dual-ball bearing cooling fan. In addition, there are two 8Pin external power ports at the tail, this design is more suitable for workstations and servers.

It is understood that GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Turbo still uses NVIDIA’s public version frequency setting, the acceleration frequency is 1770 MHz, and the GDDR6X memory speed is 19 Gbps. ASUS has not disclosed the price of GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Turbo for the time being. I don’t know if other GPUs will use the same design in the future. Previously, other manufacturers had planned to relaunch the GeForce RTX 3080/RTX 3090 graphics cards with a turbo cooling design, but in the end, it was nothing.
