ASUS TUF, PRIME and ROG STRIX H670 and B660 motherboards leak

Intel will soon provide more mainstream models of Alder Lake products to the market, other 600 series chipsets will also be released, including H670, B660 and H610 chipsets, which provide different combinations for users who purchase the 12th generation Core series desktop processors.

According to VideoCardz reports, renderings of several ASUS H670 and B660 motherboards have been exposed, including TUF, PRIME, and ROG STRIX series. According to previous news, due to the small difference, Intel will cancel the H670 chipset, and only launch the B660 and H610 chipsets early next year. Together with the previously released Z690 chipset, they will be targeted at high, medium, and low-end markets. But this time, ASUS motherboard pictures seem to show that Intel has not canceled the H670 chipset.

Although the H670 chipset looks higher than the B660 chipset, the TUF GAMING H670-PRO WIFI D4 and PRIME H670-PLUS D4 leaked by Asus this time only support DDR4 memory. It seems that ROG STRIX B660-A GAMING WIFI and ROG STRIX B660-F GAMING WIFI that support DDR5 memory are not as rich in function. It is likely that the retail price of some B660 motherboards will be higher than H670 motherboards.

Intel is expected to release H670, B660, and H610 chipsets at the CES 2022 exhibition on January 4 next year. It is understood that the number of these motherboards is limited, and retailers are just beginning to stock up.
