ASRock officially released the X670E motherboard
ASRock officially released the X670E motherboard, which supports AMD’s new generation AM5 platform and the latest DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 technologies. The first batch of X670E products provided entry-level and flagship products, and also brought a special 20th-anniversary model, the X670E Taichi Carrara.
X670E Taichi motherboard adopts 24+2+1 phase SPS Dr.MOS design and uses heat dissipation fins and heat pipes to improve heat dissipation performance. The complete power supply and cooling module design are ready for extreme overclocking to fully utilize the performance of the Ryzen 7000 series processors. The motherboard is equipped with a USB Type-C Gen 3.2 2×2 (20 Gbps) port; has four M.2 slots, one of which is called “Blazing M.2” and can support PCIe 5.0; configured with Killer E3100G 2.5G LAN and Killer AX1675X 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6E+Bluetooth), supports Killer DoubleShot Pro;
the two Thunderbolt 4 ports are also USB4 certified.
The X670E Taichi Carrara is a special edition based on the X670E Taichi to celebrate ASRock’s 20th birthday. It inherits all the functions of the original version, fully covering the white marble pattern cooling armor, and also comes with a Carrara texture cooling fan, which can make players’ consoles more themed.
Both X670E Steel Legend and X670E Pro RS use an 8-layer server-level PCB board, which can maximize overclocking performance and improve the cooling effect of the motherboard to ensure stable operation of the motherboard for a long time. The two use 16+2+1 phase and 14+2+1 phase SPS digital power supply design respectively, which have better power conversion efficiency and current monitoring capability. These motherboards are equipped with Dragon 2.5G network chip and Wi-Fi 6E chip to provide the best network quality.
PG Lightning is a new series launched under the Phantom Gaming series of ASRock’s gaming brand, targeting a wide range of gamers with limited budgets. X670E PG Lightning uses a 14+2+1 phase SPS digital power supply and 8-layer PCB board, supports PCIe 5.0 graphics card and SSD, and is ready for players to build a gaming platform.
