Apple will introduce the iPhone 15 Ultra next year to replace the Pro Max model

According to Wccftech, Apple will bring the iPhone 15 series next year, which may include the iPhone 15 Ultra to replace the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple changed the name of the product, on the one hand, it can simplify the model of the product, which is easier to read and less difficult to pronounce.

Using the word “Ultra” means that the functional configuration in all aspects is higher than the standard version, and further widens the gap with “Pro” models. The iPhone 15 Ultra is rumored to be the only model with a periscope zoom lens, and Apple has already found a supplier for this feature. Of course, the A17 Bionic is essential and may be Apple’s first SoC with 3nm, while the A16 Bionic will be deployed to lower-positioned models.

It is reported that the iPhone 15 Ultra may use a dual front camera in the hole-digging area on the basis of this year’s “Dynamic Island” to achieve some AR-like functions to match the first AR glasses. Many consumers expect Apple to replace the Lightning interface with a USB-C interface. As the European Union pushes for a universal charging solution and users react more strongly, adding more functionality to the USB-C port may force Apple to make a change. In addition, the iPhone 15 Ultra is rumored to have an increased starting capacity of 256GB.
