Apple releases third public beta of iOS/iPadOS 13.1
Apple today released the third public beta of iPadOS and iOS 13.1, a week away from the second beta release. Yesterday, Apple released the third developer beta for iOS 13.1 and iPadOS 13.1. For those who want to experience iOS, macOS and tvOS beta, you can click here to go to the Apple website, complete the subscription, and install the correct configuration file on your iOS device.
The most important news of this update is that the iPhone finally has to support the replacement of fonts. A font option has been added to the settings to display ‘You can download an app that can install fonts from the App Store’. Since this is only a beta version, there is no font app available for download in the store and it is expected to appear in the official version.
iOS 13 has redesigned the volume slider. 13.1 further supports the display of headset icons. Apple devices such as AirPods and HomePod will display differently.
A new feature of ‘Shared Arrival Time’ has been added to the Map App to share location information via iMessage. If the other party is not iOS 13.1, it will be displayed in text.
