Apple Music may launch HiFi version

Recently, Apple is preparing to launch a new HiFi Apple Music service in the next few weeks. It is said that the service will be released together with the rumored third-generation AirPods.

It is reported that the new service will provide high-fidelity streaming media transmission, and maintain the same charge as before, that is, $9.99 per month. At present, Apple Music’s fiercest competitor, Spotify, has announced that it will upgrade its sound quality to Spotify HiFi later in 2021, allowing users to listen to the original music.

In addition, the report also said that the Lossless streaming option for Apple Music is expected to potentially alongside the launch of third-generation AirPods. It will use a design language similar to AirPods Pro but lack some “Pro” features, such as active noise reduction. You can think of it as a reduced version of AirPods Pro, but apart from the change in the shape of the earbuds, the charging case and internal structure will be basically the same as the previous generation.
