Apple releases macOS Mojave 10.14.5 supplemental update

The macOS Mojave 10.14.5 system update has just been released in less than two weeks. Apple released a supplemental update this morning, but it is aimed at 2018, 2019 15-inch MacBook Pro with Apple’s self-developed T2 security chip. According to Apple’s update tips, this supplemental update resolves a “firmware issue” affecting a Mac computer with a T2 chip, and the details of the firmware issue are not given in the update prompt.

The MacBook Pro Supplemental Update addresses a firmware issue affecting 15-inch MacBook Pro computers with T2 Security Chip, and is recommended for all users.
