Apple Announces SwiftUI, New UI Framework

At the WWDC conference in 2019, Apple announced to the public at the finale that a new UI framework based on the Swift language – SwiftUI. Developers can quickly create beautiful, dynamic applications for all Apple platforms. During the introduction, Craig Federighi, senior vice president of software engineering at Apple, demonstrated how to simplify a hundred lines of code into about a dozen lines.

According to the official introduction, SwiftUI is an innovative and very convenient framework, developers can build a user interface for all of Apple’s hardware devices through the power of the Swift language – just use a set of tools and APIs. In addition, SwiftUI uses declarative Swift syntax, which is more readable and easier to understand. SwiftUI works seamlessly with the new Xcode design tools to seamlessly synchronize code and design, as well as automatic support for dynamic typing, Diablo mode, localization, and accessibility.

SwiftUI supports a higher version of the device requirements and will open the beta in July.
