Apple announced the winners of the 2022 App Store Awards
Apple today announced the list of winning applications for the 2022 App Store Awards, a total of 16 applications and games. Apple says these apps and games inspire users to learn more about the world, expand their imaginations and stay connected with friends and family. This year’s award-winning apps also represent a diverse developer community from around the world, selected by Apple’s worldwide App Store editorial team for apps and games that deliver exceptional experiences and have a profound cultural impact.
“This year’s App Store Award winners reimagined our experiences with apps that delivered fresh, thoughtful, and genuine perspectives,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “From self-taught solo creators to international teams spanning the globe, these entrepreneurs are making a meaningful impact, and represent the ways in which apps and games influence our communities and lives.”

It is understood that for more than a decade, Apple has honored the best apps and games at the end of each year. In recognition of the impact of the winning development teams, each winner will receive a physical award inspired by the iconic blue App Store icon. Developed through meticulous craftsmanship, the award includes the App Store logo set in 100% recycled aluminum used to manufacture Apple products, with the winner’s name engraved on the other side.
