Apple announced the cancellation of WWDC 2020 due to coronavirus

Earlier, Google and Microsoft both announced that the developer conferences would cancel due to the pneumonia epidemic caused by the new coronavirus and switch to webcasting.

Recently, Apple has also officially announced the cancellation of the WWDC 2020 Global Developers Conference. Next, Apple will try to continue the conference through webcasting.

The original Google and Microsoft and Apple Global Developer Conferences are all very interesting, and usually, a large number of new versions of the software are announced at these conferences.

For example, Google is preparing to announce Android 11 version, Microsoft may disclose Windows Core OS operating system, and Apple is preparing to announce iOS 14 beta.

“We are delivering WWDC 2020 this June in an innovative way to millions of developers around the world, bringing the entire developer community together with a new experience,” said Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “The current health situation has required that we create a new WWDC 2020 format that delivers a full program with an online keynote and sessions, offering a great learning experience for our entire developer community, all around the world. We will be sharing all of the details in the weeks ahead.”

With all the new products and all the new technologies Apple has been working hard to build, the Apple WWDC 2020 Global Developer Conference will become more powerful than ever.

Apple is looking forward to its developers being able to access the latest code and communicates with Apple engineers in a new way, namely, live streaming.
