Apple finally added dark mode in iOS 13, reducing application size
Apple is currently hosting this year’s Global Developers Conference, and as previously leaked, Apple has finally added dark mode in iOS 13. iOS 13 dark mode is now mainly supported at the system level but also requires application adaptation. Currently, many Apple applications support dark mode. For example, the Apple Music service is shown in the demo already supports dark mode.
When the user enables dark mode, the bottom bar of the main screen of iOS 13 can also see the light gray background. For the specific effect, you can take a look at the live picture first. In addition, Apple also mentioned that iOS 13 will greatly reduce the size of the application, allowing users to download faster and save network traffic. Apple said that the traffic consumed by application updates will be reduced by about 60%, mainly because Apple has deployed a new update strategy to reduce incremental update packages.
Finally, Apple certainly will not forget the application performance, Apple said that the iOS 13 application startup speed can be more than doubled compared to the old version.
