AOSP show that Android 10 detects your phone’s USB port is contaminated or overheating

At present, Google has officially launched the Android 10 version and some developers have begun to find what’s new in this Android version. Of course, some of the features that are being planned have not yet appeared. For example, after Google uploaded the source code to the Android project open-source code website, a developer checked the source code and found that Google is developing a phone’s USB port detection functions. When the user connects to the data cable for charging, the system will automatically detect the phone’s USB port status. If the phone’s USB port is found to be contaminated by liquid or debris, it will immediately issue a warning.

The source code shows that Google is developing a new feature to detect if there are liquids or other contaminants on the phone’s USB port, and if it is detected, immediately disable the data line and issue a warning.

After the user receives the warning, they must click OK and remove the contaminated phone’s USB port to clean and reinsert the liquid or other contaminants from the data line interface.

At this time, the system will issue a new prompt to inform the user that the current phone’s USB port has been enabled, can be used to charge or connect to the computer for file data transmission.
