Antec Releases Performance 1 FT Flagship Case
Antec has announced the release of its new Performance 1 FT case. This latest full-tower flagship product offers exceptional thermal performance and an array of practical features. The new case is now available on the market with a suggested retail price of $159.99.
Measuring 522 x 230 x 522 mm and weighing 12.55 kg, the Performance 1 FT case accommodates Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, and E-ATX motherboards. Antec employs an airflow-enhancing design on the front panel to address the increased cooling demands of next-generation CPUs and GPUs. The 1.2mm ventilation holes strike an ideal balance between airflow and dust prevention, while also improving cable routing and facilitating case installation with various options.
The case’s top panel features a temperature control display (requires Antec iUnity software installation), allowing users to toggle between CPU and GPU temperature readings without the need for additional kits. Both sides of the case are adorned with 4mm tempered glass side panels, providing an appealing visual display.
The front I/O configuration includes one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port (10 Gbps), two USB 3.0 ports, an audio jack, and a microphone jack. The case offers up to two 3.5-inch HDD slots or five 2.5-inch HDD slots; eight PCI expansion slots; a 175mm CPU cooler height limit; a 400mm GPU length limit; and a 245mm PSU length limit (with HDD installed) or 440mm (without HDD). Dust filters are fitted on the top, front, and bottom of the case, with ten Velcro straps distributed throughout for convenient cable management.
For cooling fan placement, the front panel supports three 120mm/140mm fans and 120/140/240/280/360/420mm radiators; the rear panel accommodates a 120mm fan and a 120mm radiator; and the top panel holds either three 120mm fans or two 140mm fans, supporting 120/140/240/280/360mm radiators. The Performance 1 FT case comes standard with three Storm T3 140mm PWM fans mounted on the front and an additional Storm T3 120mm PWM fan mounted on the rear.
