Analyzer: Apple to update iPad Pro and MacBook Pro next year with Mini-LED display

A well-known Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo recently released a research report that Apple is pushing some high-end products to use the new Mini-LED display technology. Apple display has many technologies ahead of the market in terms of brightness and refreshes rate, and now Apple is planning to continue to expand its leading position with new technologies. Mini-LED display technology can make Apple-designed products thinner, while also including excellent wide color gamut performance, high contrast, and dynamic range.

Ming-Chi Kuo said that future iPad and MacBook displays will use 10,000 LEDs, and these technologies will be gradually updated to Apple’s various products. Apple’s upcoming Pro Display XDR display technology will use 576 LEDs, and the overall size of these LED devices will be less than 200 microns. Analysts said that this miniature LED display will significantly improve productivity and entertainment experience, but Mr. Kuo did not disclose when Apple will update its product line.
