AMD Radeon RX 6600 series has appeared in the latest drivers

At the CES 2021 exhibition at the beginning of this year, AMD promised to launch a mobile version of the RDNA 2 architecture in the first half of the year and finally fulfilled its promise. Many AMD fans are now looking forward to the ASUS ROG Strix G15 laptop equipped with Radeon RX 6800M graphics. This is the first time that AMD’s 3A platform has entered the high-end gaming market for many years.

The first half of the year is about to pass, but so far, AMD’s promises have not been fully realized, such as more Radeon RX 6000 series desktop GPUs. Although two Radeon RX 6700 XT/RX 6900 XT LC products were launched. However, the dual-slot single-fan Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card in the background behind AMD CEO, Dr. Lisa Su has not yet been seen. This is most likely a product belonging to the Radeon RX 6600 series.

Twitter user @KOMACHI_ENSAKA found that in the latest driver released by AMD recently, the information of the Radeon RX 6600/RX 6600 XT GPUs is actually hidden. Its PCI device ID is 73FF because this is the same as the core ID of the mobile platform Navi 23.
According to the recent information submitted by a graphics card manufacturer to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Radeon RX 6600 XT will be equipped with 8GB of GDDR6 memory, but the memory specifications of Radeon RX 6600 are not yet certain. Maybe it’s not too far from the release of Radeon RX 6600/RX 6600 XT.
