AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT will ship with Lenovo Legion T5

It was previously reported that AMD will launch the Radeon RX 6500 XT next year, which will be available in mid-January 2022. As the release time approaches, the leaked information becomes more frequent and more specific at the same time. For PC manufacturers, if they adopt certain upcoming products, they will also make relevant preparations in advance.

Twitter user @KOMACHI_ENSAKA found that Lenovo mentioned the optional graphics card configuration of the Legion T5 desktop in a December 9 document, including AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT. According to the information, this graphics card is equipped with a DisplayPort 1.4a port and an HDMI 2.1 port, both of which support 7680 x 4320@60Hz output. Compared with the optional AMD Radeon RX 5500 graphics card, the biggest change is the use of RDNA 2 architecture and support for new standard ports.

However, Lenovo did not provide the full specifications of the Radeon RX 6500 XT. It is said that it will be equipped with a full specification Navi 24 core, with 1024 stream processors, a video memory rate of 14 Gbps, and a corresponding video memory bandwidth of 112 GB/s. It still needs an external power supply. AMD is likely to mention this graphics card at the CES 2022 exhibition early next year.
