Amazon Launches Generative AI Innovation Accelerator Program
Amazon recently unveiled a generative artificial intelligence startup accelerator program through its AWS cloud platform service, aiming to assist entrepreneurs in advancing their generative AI technology over a ten-week period and attracting potential investment opportunities.
This accelerator program will provide AWS cloud platform technology, along with mentorship, technical expertise, and resources for technical exchanges, bolstering the growth of generative AI technology throughout the ten-week duration.
Amazon states that the accelerator program is open to all startups, but recommends that applicants have at least one generative AI technology capable of enticing potential investors and complete registration by April 17th. There are no specific restrictions on application fields.

In contrast to companies such as Meta, Google, and OpenAI, which are all actively investing in the development of generative AI technology, Amazon has only incorporated automatic generative AI technology into select products, such as Create with Alexa, which generates children’s stories on smart displays like Echo Show.
By investing in external technology through the startup accelerator approach, Amazon can significantly alleviate the pressure to develop automatic generative AI technology in-house. Simultaneously, it allows for the expansion of generative AI technology development through external investments, applying it to proprietary services when necessary or generating greater profits through investment.
