As Apple devices gradually shift to the M1 chip, Adobe will also bring Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom Classic developed specifically for M1 Mac during WWDC 2021.

Like the previously launched M1 versions of Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro, these applications developed specifically for M1 devices have brought huge improvements in performance. Adobe said that after Pfeiffer Consulting’s running scores, they found that M1 devices can run Creative Cloud up to 80% faster than Intel devices with the same configuration.

In addition to updating the Mac version of the app, Adobe also brings new custom brushes to the iPad version of Photoshop. Users of Lightroom and Lightroom Classic will be able to enable super-resolution after the updated version and customize the crop ratio in Lightroom.
