Acer launches new displays for home entertainment

Acer announced the upgrade of its display and projector product line, introducing two new displays, Nitro XV272U KF and Acer CB273U, and Acer L811 projector, providing new choices for users who work and entertain at home. Both monitors are 27 inches, of which Nitro XV272U KF is a gaming monitor, and Acer CB273U tends to be for users who need content creation.
Victor Chien, head of Acer’s digital display business, said that the coronavirus pandemic has changed the way people work and play. Many users who use laptops to work at home purchase additional monitors for connection. In addition, more and more families are interested in home theaters. Acer is doing its best to respond flexibly and meet new demands.
The Acer L811 projector is an ultra-short throw laser projector that supports 4K resolution compatible with HDR 10, provides a brightness of 3000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 2000000:1, and can project a 120-inch screen at a distance of 31.2cm. It supports Acer LumiSense technology, which can analyze the content frame by frame, and then dynamically adjust the image brightness to provide the best playback effect. In addition, 3D format projection is also supported, with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The projector is pre-installed with the application market, and users can install different apps by themselves, and enjoy various services out of the box, as well as the screen projection function. It has built-in 10W speakers, supports Acer TrueHarmony sound effects, and has obtained IP6X dust-proof certification.

Nitro XV272U KF uses a 27-inch WQHD resolution IPS panel, with a 300Hz refresh rate, a response time as low as 0.5ms, a DCI-P3 color gamut of 90%, and Delta E less than 1, obtained VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification and supports AMD FreeSync Premium, Acer Black Boost, and Acer Vision Care 3.0 technologies. It is equipped with a stand that allows users to find a suitable viewing angle by adjusting the tilt, height, and rotation.

Acer CB273U also uses a 27-inch WQHD resolution IPS panel, the refresh rate should be 60Hz, the response time is 1ms, the Delta E is less than 1, and it supports HDR10 and AMD FreeSync. This monitor has the function of a docking station. It provides a 90W USB Type-C port that supports laptop power supply, an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port, and a built-in KVM switch, as well as a USB 3.0 port, which is convenient for users to switch or expand between desktop and laptop computers.
