According to Rick Osterloh, more than 75% of Pixel devices have been upgraded to Android 9, so if you look at the upgrade rate between Apple and Google’s devices, they don’t have much difference between them, and it is expected that iOS 12 will reach 75% share in the month.
Pixel users upgrade to new Android releases very quickly; >75% of Pixel users are on the terrific Android Pie release, and more are updating every day. #madebygoogle https://t.co/LPej2BUtHX

According to IDC statistics, Google sold 1.95 million Pixel devices in 2016 and sold 3.9 million units in 2017. If you do not consider sales in 2018, the current Pixel equipment inventory should reach 5.85 million units.
Of course, the iOS device base is much more than this, reaching hundreds of millions, so the system upgrade rate of the two is not comparable. However, if 75% of this number is right, plus third-party Android manufacturers have also received Android 9 updates, I believe that the next time Google announced system share, there should be Android 9 data.
